A recent Summit on State Programs to help spur housing has resulted in some interesting facts. Ottawa Community Development Director, Michael Hall, gave a briefing to the City Commission about the types of housing people are requesting:
City officials are moving forward with taking advantage of the moderate income housing program. This is the type of housing needed in our area, to attract and retain the work force needed for any new industry that may be attracted to the area.
