At the Ottawa City Commission Study Session Monday, Ottawa Mayor Eric Crowley, raised some questions about the proposed widening of Cedar Street between 13th and 15th, thinking the extra dollars could be used somewhere else. Acting Public Works Director, Dennis Tharp, says widening the street is looking to the future, as traffic is only going to increase in that area:
Killough Construction will be doing the work. The issue was decided at todays Commission Meeting on a 3-1 vote.
