The Paola Fire Department has released some information on funeral services for Paola Firefighter, Mark Dozier. Dozier passed away recently after a short battle with cancer.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 this afternoon, Thursday, July 21, at the Paola Firehouse Gym at 202 Wea in Paola and Funeral Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00 in the same location.
Because large crowds are expected, some parking areas have been restricted to the general public and are only available to Paola Fire Department families. They have posted a map on their Facebook page showing where the public can park. The green areas on the map are for public parking.
The Fire Department has arranged for two shuttles to continually run between the parking lots and the Firehouse Gym. They will start at 4:30 this afternoon and 9:30 tomorrow morning.
The Fire Department says the outpouring of support for the Department and the Dozier family has been overwhelming and thanks everybody for their support.
