Two major events in Garnett Tomorrow, Saturday, July 23. First, the first ever night race in Kansas City Karting Association history on the Sprint Track at Lake Garnett, on the 1/3 mile Sprint Track. Gates open at 9:00 in the morning for practice rounds, but the real racing begins with Practice Sessions and Qualification Rounds at 6:00. A pre-final of 15 laps and 22 lap final, then an awards ceremony. There is no admission to see the karts whip around the track at up to 100 miles per hour.

Then, the Anderson County Fair kicks off that night with a big event. Anderson County Development Director, Julie Turnipseed:

It’s a fully Sanctioned Missouri State Tractor and Truck Pull. Gates will open at 4:00 and the Sledding action will start at 7:00. There are four classes of tractor and 4 classes of trucks that will be competing tomorrow night.
