Across Kansas and across the Nation, there’s a vital workforce that’s aging and not enough younger people are entering the field to be able to replace them. Britt Zweygardt tells us that farmers on our Nation are getting older:

Meanwhile, high crop prices that have sustained farmers over the past year, are expected to go down. U. S. House Lawmakers are looking for ways to mitigate some of these risks and support young and beginning farmers in the next Farm Bill.
