The organization leading the effort to defeat an August 2nd Abortion Amendment to the Kansas Constitution took in over $6 1/2 million in contributions since the start of the year, while the Association at the center of the campaign to pass the amendment raised almost $5 million in that period. Any registered voter, regardless of party affiliation, is eligible to vote on the Amendment. Kansas voters will vote on the “Value them Both” Amendment question during the Kansas Primary Election August 2nd.
