Back in April, the City of Wellsville and the Franklin County Commission, began working on an arrangement to work together on the expansion of an ambulance station and helping out with 911 Dispatch costs. At a recent County Commission meeting, County Administrator, Derek Brown, told Commissioners that he was working on the transaction:
In June, the County approached Wellsville and asked that they pitch in more funding for the Emergency dispatch Center, as the call volume is increasing there.
