Early voting began last week and Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock, says so far there has been a steady flow of people coming in to vote. She says there were over 500 advance ballots sent out and they are beginning to come in by mail or in the drop box outside the Courthouse. Paddock says some people have expressed concern about the safety of the drop box ballots. She explains the process:
The Clerks office will be open until 6:00 tomorrow evening and from 9:00 to 1:00 Saturday morning, providing plenty of extra hours to vote early if you like.
