Preliminary estimates reported by the Kansas Department of Labor and the Bureau of Labor Statistics show a very low Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate in June. Kansas Secretary of Labor, Amber Shultz:

Private sector jobs increased by 700 over the month, while government increased by 3,900. It wasn’t all roses in the report, however. Kansas Economist, Nathan Kessler:

Economic Development in Kansas continues to increase. That will only lead to more jobs available and hopefully a bigger drop in the unemployment rate.
