The Anderson County Fair continues today with a lot of activities for the whole family. Frontier Extension District Agent, Jessica Flory, tells us about some of the events going on today:
The pie judging is at 6:15 this evening, the Kids Cash Grab at 6:30, then you don’t want to miss the pie auction at 7:30. Jessica mentioned the Open Mic Night. It was very popular last year so it’s back for another run. It’s sponsored by the Anderson County Review. Organizer Dane Hicks says there will be a large number of local acts and regional performers on the stage tonight. Solo acts, bands, and much more. If you or your group would like to take part in Open Mic Night, it will be held at 8:00 tonight at the Anderson County Fair. You can sign up for Open Mic Night by calling the Review or sign up on-site tonight. Just be there a bit early to get registered.
