Last Week, the State of Kansas landed the single largest economic development opportunity in its history. Panasonic announced it would build a $4 billion electric battery plant just outside of DeSoto on the Old Sunflower Ammunition Plant grounds. It will lead to thousands of jobs for Kansas, but; it could be great news for the Ottawa area. Franklin County Development Council Director, Paul Bean, tells us why:
