Candy Funhouse, an online retailer of confectionery treats from chocolate bars to gummies and licorice, is hiring someone to be their Chief Candy Officer and, it pays $78,000 a year. The duties of the job sound pretty rough. You have to lead candy Board Meetings, be the Head Taste Tester and be up to eating up to 20 pieces of candy a day. An official at the company says when you think of the job, imagine your best memories around candy and having that every day at work. It’s an online company that offers a weird mix of products with no minimum order, even promising to sell one lollipop if ordered. Right now, the company is prepping for Halloween, its biggest sales period last year. They have most of their stock in.
Last week, candy giant, Hershey’s reported it will have difficulty meeting Halloween-related demand this year.
