With the election today being of interest to so many people across the State, it’s no surprise that early voting and advanced voting have been heavier than usual. That was the case in Miami County as well. Miami County Clerk, Janet White, says they expect voting today to be heavy also:
The “Value The Both” Amendment question drove the sharp increase in early voting.
Two races in Miami County of interest: In the Kansas House 5th District, incumbent Mark Samsel is facing challenger Carrie Barth. Also, in the 3rd Congressional District, Republican Amanda Adkins is running against John McCaughren.
All Polling Stations are open across the State until 7:00 this evening.
