Heat deaths in cars hit everywhere. In a tragic event Sunday, July 31, in Osage County, a two year old child has died after being found unresponsive in a car in Scranton. According to the Osage County Sheriff’s office, emergency responders were called to an undisclosed residence in Scranton around 3:40 Sunday afternoon. The child was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead.

Osage County Sheriff, Chris Wells, says they do not believe the child was left in the car; however, circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.
