Officials from the City of Ottawa and Franklin County had a lecture on what is needed to bring industry to Proximity Park, during their joint luncheon Wednesday, August 3. Franklin County Development Council Executive Director, Paul Bean, told officials he recently read an article about the difficulties Pella Windows is having hiring workers:
Bean says a strategic plan to meet housing and child care needs of an expanding work force is what’s needed if there is to be success at recruiting industry to Proximity Park and other areas.
