The Linn County Fair revved up last night, Friday, August 5, with the Team Demolitions Derby and will hold a regular derby tonight, along with the crowning of the Fair Queen. Tomorrow, Sunday, August 7, head on down to Mound City for the 4-H Dog Show, Specialty Animal Show and then the Pet Show at noon, then stick around for the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull. Things really get going to Monday with animal exhibits coming in and the sheep show at 6:00 that evening. That’s followed on Tuesday by the goats, then swine and beef.
Activities are happening all week for people of all ages. Head on down to Mound City and enjoy the sites, sounds and smells of the Linn County Fair.
