A big public event is happening today in Legacy Square. The Franklin County United Way is presenting Unity Festival. It’s an entire evening of celebration for people of all ages. Franklin County United Way Director, Leigh Hanson, with more on the event:
For only a $5.00 donation for adults, $2.00 for kids 3 to 17, you can enjoy an evening full of fun. Bounce houses, face painting, cornhole, a sweet corn eating contest, performances by the Spotlight Dance Academy, fire trucks and ambulances on display and finish off with a live concert by Aaron Lucero to end the night.
It starts at 5:00 this afternoon at Legacy Square in Downtown Ottawa.
