It appears that the City of Ottawa and Franklin county are on the verge of setting up a Joint Committee to tackle the problems of the work force that seems to be preventing progress on locating industry in Proximity Park and elsewhere. During a Joint Luncheon of City and county Officials, County Commissioner Don Stottlemire summed up what is needed:
Officials discussed the housing and child care situation… problems that are cited by prospective companies when evaluating a possible location of a facility in the local area.
