The 4th Judicial District Nominating Commission will convene by telephone conference at 1:30 this afternoon, Tuesday, August 9th, to review nominations for a new District Magistrate Judge position in Coffey County. The new position was among several certified by the Supreme Court after the Kansas Legislature passed and the Governor signed 2022 House Substitute for Substitute for Senate Bill no. 267 to fund them. The 4th Judicial District is composed of Franklin, Anderson and Coffey Counties.
