The Ottawa City Commission has given quick approval to an agreement which allows Kansas Gas Service to extend natural gas to Proximity Park. City Attorney Blaine Finch, gave some background on the project:
Kansas Gas will pay 25%, or almost $431,000 of the project. The City will pick up the rest, using money from the BASE Grant awarded earlier this year.
