Voter turnout pretty much fulfilled expectations at last week’s Primary Election in Kansas. Here in Franklin County, County Clerk, Janet Paddock, estimated turnout at a little over 50%. During the County Commission Canvass, she also gave the breakdown of party turnout:
There were no changes in any of the races following the Canvass. Paddock added that the voter turnout was one of the highest she had ever seen for a Primary. The Value Them Both Constitutional question drove more voters to the Polls than usual, because of its sensitive nature, leading to the high turnout
