Kale Link is a 2022 graduate of West Franklin High School and is headed to Fort Hays State University to study Paleontology and he is already a published author, writing “A Prehistoric Odyssey: Gone to the Great Dying”. He was at the Ottawa Library yesterday for an Author Visit. Link says he was serious about writing a book in the 7th grade. KOFO’s, William Mayo, spoke with him at the library. He says paleontology has been a passion of his for his entire life and it’s something he wants to do for the rest of his life:
Kale says other young writers need to find something they enjoy to write about and stick with it. Write every day, don’t give up.
