The Ottawa School District has to deal with all kinds of social problems affecting students and respond accordingly. School Superintendent, Dr. Ryan Cobbs, told the School Board during a Work Session, that Autism is really affecting kids:
Having the proper staffing and dealing with disciplinary actions appropriate to each student diagnosis is very important when it come to autistic students. The Ottawa School board was reviewing budgetary and educational needs for the future, during their work session.
