One of the leading calls for the ambulance are falls and the Franklin County Emergency Medical Services Department is looking to do something about it. EMS Director, Christi Hilliker, says they’re looking at re-starting an old program:
Hilliker says if a patient calls for an ambulance, then refuses transport to a hospital, they are not charged for the call.
