If you listen to some people, you might think that agriculture is to blame for spewing out the most carbon, causing what many call global warming or climate change. During the Annual Meeting of the Franklin County Farm Bureau, special guest speaker, Debbie Lyons-Blythe, had a contention about that. Blythe, along with her husband Duane Blythe, is a cattle rancher in the Flint Hills of Kansas. She says agriculture is actually dead last when it comes to ranking the biggest carbon emitters:

She says agriculture has always been concerned about the environment, so it shouldn’t be surprising that farmers and ranchers are some of the biggest environmentalists around.
