Property taxes are always a complicated subject; but, one thing they all have in common: people don’t want their taxes going up. Ottawa School Superintendent, Dr. Ryan Cobbs, explained to Board Members during a work session that in some cases taxes are actually going down:
Cobbs went over various budgetary and enrollment matters. He says final enrollment for each school district is determined around September 20th and he will have those numbers as soon as they are available.
