The Community Corrections Department has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in Grants from the Kansas Department of Corrections to increase the pay of employees. Community Corrections Director, Dustin Browning, told the County Commission about the latest Grants:
Although more of a formality, the County Commission indicated by consensus to go ahead and apply the money toward corrections employee’s salaries.
