Ottawa High School’s FFA program will have a new leader this year. New Agriculture teacher Allyson Gilmore, will be the FFA sponsor. FFA has already chosen its officers for the upcoming year. Junior, Mackenzie Cunningham, is the secretary. She plans to go to college to be an Agriculture Sales Representative. She says her favorite competition is livestock judging and her favorite thing about FFA is the relationships you create with people all over the area. Jacelyn Hedges is the reporter. The senior wants to study elementary education and equine massage. She says her favorite FFA event is horse judging and floriculture. She would like to build better public speaking skills and become more involved in the community.
Brynn Perri is the sentinel. The sophomore wants to study anything in agriculture and says her favorite FFA event is the livestock judging. Raelee Morrow, has been named the junior advisor. She would like to study vet science and floriculture is her favorite career development event.
