Linda Campbell, 72, of Richmond, KS passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at her home. She was born May 1, 1950 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of John Bruce and Mildred Lorna Deason of Shawnee Mission, KS. Linda married Charles Wayne Demoret on August 18, 1968. Out of this union a son, Brian Wayne Demoret was born October 31, 1971.
Charles Wayne Demoret precedes Linda in death as do her parents, grandparents, and a brother John Deason.
On October 19, 1985, Linda was united in marriage to Steve Campbell. They shared thirty-five years of marriage. Steve survives of their home. She is also survived by her son, Brian Demoret and his wife, Kori; her grandson, Aiden Demoret, of Ottawa, KS; her two step children, Elizabeth Pritchard (Dave), of Lampe, MO, James Campbell of Louisburg, KS; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Cassandra Knight-McCleary, (Jim) of Phoenix, AZ, Judy Botello, and Karen Deason of Oskaloosa, KS.
Linda graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School and went on to college to become a Paralegal. She worked for Wagner, Mullins, and Kowalski Law Offices for several years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandson, Aiden. When she wasn’t doing that she worked as a substitute teacher for the Central Heights School District in Richmond, KS.
Memorial funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Life Mission Church, Ottawa. The family will greet friends for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa.
