The Franklin County Commission Budget Hearing, last night Wednesday, September 7, became sort of a “complaint session about taxes”. One of several people that complained to commissioners was Greg Perry of Wellsville. He quoted a biblical passage from the Book of First Kings:
Several other people complained that the County was raising taxes and they see no results from it. After a period of time taking complaints, Commissioners voted to approve the 2023 Budget of about $17.5 million, up around $400,000 from the 2022 budget.
