This Week, September 17 through the 23rd, is Constitution Week, commemorating the Anniversary of the U. S. Constitution. The Ottawa City Commission has approved a Proclamation recognizing the event. During the Regular Commission Meeting, Grace Nilges of the Daughters of the American Revolution accepted the Proclamation:
The Constitution was signed 235 years ago, September 17th, 1787. Constitution Week is an annual observance to put people in memory of the principles contained within the Constitution.
