An injury accident yesterday morning, Monday September 26th, just before 11:00 sent a man the hospital via helicopter ambulance. At 10:55 Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a one vehicle accident at Montana and Stafford Roads and the driver had been ejected from the vehicle. Upon arrival, first responders found a 50 year old man awake, but very disoriented and bleeding from several areas of his body. Health Star Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene and transported the man to an area hospital for treatment of injuries he received in the crash. The extent of those injuries are not known.
Crews remained at the scene for nearly three hours, talking to a witness to the incident and cleaning up and removing the vehicle. The accident is still under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. KOFO will have more details when they become available.
Sheriff’s Deputies also worked the scene of a single vehicle roll-over crash involving a concrete truck at the intersection of 59 Highway and John Brown Road yesterday afternoon. Minor injuries were reported for the driver of the truck.
