ON FRIDAY, THE NEW USDA CORN STOCKS REPORT CAME IN AT ABOUT 1 POINT 28 BILLION BUSHELS. THAT NUMBER, OVER 11 PERCENT MORE THAN A YEAR AGO, BUT MANY WERE EXPECTING THE YEAR ENDING STOCKS TO BE MORE THAN THAT, POSSIBLY UP TO 1 POINT 6 BILLION BUSHELS. USDA’S CHIEF ECONOMIST SETH MEYERS TELL US WHAT IT MEANS
HE ADDS THAT THE MARKET IS VOLATILE RIGHT NOW AND SOME RELIEF COULD BE SEEN AS REPORTS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES COME IN, EITHER OPENING UP THE MARKET, OR FURTHER RESTRICTING IT.
