THE FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSION DEDICATED THEIR ENTIRE STUDY SESSION ON MONDAY TO THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, GETTING REPORTS ON VARIOUS ROAD PROJECTS IN THE AREA. COMMISSIONER DON STOTTLEMIRE ASK K-DOT DISTRICT DIRECTOR, WAYNE GOODMANSON, ABOUT THE PLAN FOR K-33 NEAR WELLSVILLE, AS BUSINESS CONTINUES TO EXPAND IN THAT AREA.
KDOT IS ALSO REPLACING THE BRIDGE OVER THE RAILROAD TRACK ON K-33. GOODMANSON ESTIMATES THAT BOTH PROJECTS WILL BE FULLY COMPLETE SOMETIME IN 2025 AND THAT THE CITY OF WELLSVILLE WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH BOTH PROJECTS AS IT MAKES TRANSPORTATION MUCH EASIER IN THE AREA.
