THE UPGRADES TO THE OTTAWA MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM THAT WERE EXPECTED TO BE MADE WITH SOME BOND ISSUES, WILL ACTUALLY HAVE TO WAIT A LITTLE LONGER. AT THE REGULAR OTTAWA CITY COMMISSION STUDY SESSION, THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN WAS DISCUSSED……AND COMMISSIONER SARA CAYLOR HAD A QUESTION.
FINANCE DIRECTOR MELANIE LANDIS TOLD CAYLOR THAT SOME IMPROVEMENTS MAY STILL BE MADE BY GETTING GRANTS OR CLASSIFYING THEM AS MAINTENANCE ITEMS. ONE FEATURE TO BE INSTALLED IN THE FUTURE IS A STAIRLIFT FOR THE DISABLED.
