As of Monday morning October 31st, more than 21 million Americans have voted early in the 2022 elections, according to the University of Florida’s United States Elections Project. The last midterm election in 2018 saw some of the highest turnout in history. Experts expect a high turnout again this time around. Every seat in the house of representatives is up for grabs, as well as 35 U. S. Senate Seats. There are also 36 Governor races.

Heated races in our area include Governor, Attorney General, 3rd Congressional District Representative, and the 59th District Kansas House of Representatives. Early voting is still available in Franklin County until Monday at noon. You can vote today and tomorrow from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 to 4:30, Saturday from 9:00 to 1:00 and then Monday from 8:00 to noon. Election day is Tuesday, November 8th.
