An accident yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, November 8th, in Osage County sent two people to the hospital. Yesterday afternoon just before 1:30, the Osage County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an injury accident at milepost 119 on US 75 near Melvern Lake. A vehicle driven by 25 year old Alexander Bowers of Topeka, had been traveling northbound on 75 and crossed the centerline striking a southbound vehicle, driven by 73 year old Ronald Stockebrand of Yates Center.
Stockebrand and his passenger, 67 year old Patricia Stockebrand, were transported to a Topeka hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. No word on the extent of their injuries.
