A Pomona man was injured yesterday, Thursday, November 10th, as he was walking on the road, in an accident that authorities says could have been much worse. Yesterday afternoon just before 5:30, 37-year-old Luke Wright, of Pomona was southbound in the 2500 block of Colorado Road when he struck 40-year-old Eli Collins of Pomona, who was walking in the roadway.
Collins was transported by Franklin County EMS to Advent Health Ottawa for treatment of non life threatening injuries suffered in the crash. The incident is under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
