The Ottawa City Commission will hold it’s weekly Study Session today, Monday, November 28th. The agenda itself is fairly short. The first item on that agenda is a Resolution authorizing a request to waive the statutory requirement to use generally accepted accounting principles base accounting for 2023. Assistant Director of Finance Rebecka McCurdy and Director of Finance, Melanie Landis will lead that discussion.
The second item on the agenda is a continued discussion of wastewater utility rates. Utilities Director Dennis Tharp will lead a discussion about increasing the wastewater rate for customers.
The third item will be talks about updates on the 2023 Salary Study which will be led by Human Resources Director, Michelle Wapp.
The study will begin at 4:00 this afternoon at City Hall. It is open to the public and will be live streamed on the City of Ottawa Facebook page.
