Despite the threat of rain, which for the most part, held off until after, Downtown Ottawa was filled with hundreds of people Saturday evening for the AnnuaL Lighting Ceremony and Christmas Parade. KOFO’s Derek Chappell counted it down:
The warm glow of twinkling Christmas lights in Downtown Ottawa made the parade extra special. It was highlighted by many floats depicting different Christmas movies. An airplane mounted on a trailer, COF with their Polar Express Bus and of course, Santa Claus bringing up the rear of the parade, waving at everyone from the basket of the Ottawa Fire Departments’ Tower Truck.
