The Franklin County Commission seems to be facing a somewhat tough choice on whether to allow families to buy memorial bricks at the Veterans Memorial in addition to what is already there. County Administrator, Derek Brown says the condition of the current bricks is not the issue right now.
Commissioner Colt Waymire has expressed opposition to putting any more money toward the memorial, saying what is there is appropriate. A formal proposal on what to do about adding to the memorial bricks is expected to be made to the County Commission in a few weeks.
