Ottawa electric customers may be facing a substantial electrical rate increase in addition to an increase in water and sewer rates. During the Ottawa City Commission Study Session, Finance Director, Melanie Landis detailed some proposals.
Landis says the increase is needed to make sure the electric fund balance stays in a healthy status.
