Franklin County is in a category that no one wants when it comes to drug addictions and overdoses. The Franklin County Substance Use Prevention Coalition says that the county ranks 14th in the state of suspected overdoses…….and when looking at the number of overdoses as a proportion of the population, Franklin County ranks 7th.
The most common cause of an accidental overdose fatality is fentanyl, and most of the fentanyl is produced in Mexico by drug cartels using chemicals from china.
