At the Kansas Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, Franklin County programs and individuals really shined. The County achieved Platinum Level, the highest possible for the County showcase of efforts in advocacy, education and service. The county was also recognized for having made membership gains in both associates and voting members.
The AG Education Summer Series with the Ottawa Recreation Commission Campers earned the Kansas Farm Bureau Innovation Award and both Allen Campbell, who was named a Friend of Agriculture and Mark and Lacey Wray, who were the Farm Family of the year in District 2, were recognized at the banquet.
Congratulations to all those receiving awards and to the Franklin County Farm Bureau for being a fantastic source of knowledge and education for everyone in the county.
