A retiring Ottawa Police Officer received some praise during the last regular Ottawa Commission meeting of the year. Lieutenant Doug Waterman spent 35 years with the force….City Manager Richard Nienstedt paid tribute to Waterman:
Waterman started with the Ottawa Police force in 1986, when the department was then known as the Department of Public Safety.
