The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office may have found a way to offer education to inmates despite outside organizations pulling back as a result of the COVID pandemic. Sheriff Jeff Richards says the answer may be on-line.
Richards says the pandemic caused a steep curtailment of previous programs where a number of outside groups would come in and work with inmates on various social and educational topics.
