The Franklin County Public Works Department may be making a move into what some consider a new technology when it comes to pipe. Traditionally pipe has been made of metal…..but now some companies are selling plastic pipe. Public Works Director David Lee says he found one county that’s a believer.
Lee says up to now, he’s received very mixed opinions of the metal pipe versus the plastic pipe characteristics…….he plans to host several counties at a meeting with a vendor that deals in plastic pipe.
