Wastewater rates are probably going to rise in Ottawa over the course of the next few years. Finance Director Melanie Landis says that the cost of some major projects in the coming years necessitate the increase in rates. She told City Commissioners how the increase would affect people locally.-:
The Commissioners decided to move the proposal to raise rates to the Agenda of their meeting next week for final discussion and approval.
