January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and the Franklin County Commission has approved a Proclamation in recognition of the event. Commission Chair, Ianne Dickerson read part of the proclamation:
Law enforcement officials say there is human trafficking right here in Franklin County….no figures were provided during reading of the proclamation.
