Through thick and thin, the Franklin County Conservation District has been active for over 70 years in promoting good soil conservation practices to farmers. During the District Annual Meeting, District Manager Kerri Harris spelled out some of the activities.
The District also handed out its annual awards for good farming practices….they were Rudy and Andrea Manes of rural Richmond, and Camp Chippewa and its manger James Ritner.
